     After executing a most remarkable dive--one which so astonished observers that not a single spectator had the presence of mind to photograph the historic occasion--diver extraordinaire Jerry Damerow (seen here in his warm-up outfit) receives accolades from adoring fans.

     In all fairness, Jerry was a marvelously good sport about the incident, took his ribbings good naturedly, and stayed until the end of the party.  Jerry, you're the man!
