Elaine Krajewski Vargas (Eagle Rock, CA) graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing. Elaine then earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California.

Elaine is divorced and does not have any children but she has "three delightful, loving cats."

For the past four years Elaine has worked for Planned Parenthood in Pasadena, California, teaching family planning, and STD prevention and treatment. Prior to this job she worked for Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children for 14 years as a staff, charge and supervisor nurse and in ICU caring for spinal fusion patients, burn patients and amputees.

Elaine managed her brother's Veterinary Clinic for three years. She started and ran a migrant farm workers clinic in Yuba City, California for three years before moving to Mexico City, Mexico where she married and lived for three years.

Elaine enjoys traveling and often visits her time-shares in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. She also visits her brother who lives in Costa Rica. Her other travels include Europe, Australia and the Caribbean.

"My passion is remodeling houses and interior decorating, gardening and playing with my cats. While I dated singer Lou Rawls for 14 years, I often stayed in Las Vegas and worked on Lou's Parade of Stars Telethon."
