Biography for Janet Miller Bauer as published in the 2009 Pollen Count
Janet Miller Bauer (Maple Hts., OH) "Life has been good to me but at times life has been hard." The only real failure in my life was my divorce. However, I would not have changed the past for anything because I have been blessed with three really special children Frank, Brent and Beth.
Janet's oldest son Frank struggled for many years with alcohol and drugs but has been sober for five years now as a result of time spent in a Christ-centered addiction recovery facility in New Jersey (America's Keswick). Frank lives in Twinsburg and works for Leiden Cabinet. Janet's son Brent and family still live in Florida. He is working for Progressive Communications in Lake Mary, Florida. He has two children Breanne and Brenden. Breanne is part of a dance group at school the 'Dazzlers' who perform at football games and compete locally and nationally. Her daughter Beth and family are missionaries with Baptist Mid-Missions and at this writing are in Yaounde, Cameroun. They have three children, Ben, Alyssa and Brandon. They will be coming home this next summer on furlough for six months and this time will leave her grandson Ben in the states for college.
"My mom is now in Pleasantview Care Center in Parma where she was admitted April of 2008 and my dad is 91 years old and still living at home. This last year was a hard one for both Dad and me. Hopefully 2009 will allow us to live a more normal life."
Janet is looking forward to renewing some friendships at the reunion especially with some of her girlfriends.
"I enjoy scrapbooking, being outside during our warm weather and spending time with my grandchildren. It won't be long before the oldest ones are grown and off on their own and I want them to remember who Grandma is. Some of my special memories are cheerleading and being the football queen. I am looking forward to seeing you in June!" |
