Sherrill Schroeder Damerow

Sherrill Schroeder Damerow (Little Rock, AR) majored in Early Child Education at Kent State University. She taught Kindergarten in Cleveland and North Olmsted. In 1968 she married Jerry Damerow. A few years later they accepted a transfer to Jakarta Indonesia where they spent five adventurous years. Upon returning to the United States, they lived in New York City, Little Rock Arkansas and San Juan Puerto Rico. They then returned to Little Rock to retire. Jerry and Sherrill celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2008.

Sherrill enjoys volunteering for the Humane Society and teaching computing skills to seniors. She worked for a time at the Arkansas Arts Center and attended the University of Arkansas pursuing a degree in Art. She is currently interested in collage. Sherrill and Jerry enjoy movies, theatre and of course travel.
