Kindergarten Roster

Kindergarten Roster (afternoon session): 1946-1947

Note the blue color of the text, a signature characteristic of the famous "spirit duplication" printing process so common during our school years.   You can probably still remember the pungent aroma of the duplicating fluid, which was a 50/50 mixture of isopropanol and methanol.  Fortunately technology has moved on since those dayselse today's students might be sniffing the stuff over recess.

List of celebrity roles

Sixth grade celebrity roles

This scrap of paper, preserved from Miss Behal's sixth-grade class, appears to be a  list of celebrity roles taken on by members of the class.  The purpose and origins of these assignments are unknown.

The typist clearly has not yet had the benefit of Miss Heinemann's typing class.

These individual student pictures were given to algebra instructor, homeroom teacher, and Drama Club advisor Dale Kittle by members of his class in 1956.  Mr. Kittle provided these copies to Ray Orley when they reconnected via email in 2010--fifty-four years later!

The students pictured are Ray Orley, Bill Martin, Terry Lequyea, Rachel McHugh, Diane Liebner, and Betty Muscaro.

Here is another slide of "You Can't Take It With

You."  Pat Tarkington is in the white dress with

a blue sash at center stage.  She is playing the

Grand Duchess Olga Katrina and was selected for

the part because she could fake a foreign accent.
